I just discovered Seth’s Bike Hacks about one year ago when I was on my three week road trip through the western states. I was riding with this cool cat, Chet, from Chicago and he mentioned this internet guy Seth. Seth runs a YouTube channel and web site that, for lack of a better way of putting it, promotes mountain bike riding and culture for the everyman. I was curious, so I checked it out and I was instantly hooked. I enjoy Seth’s antics, and I also learn a few things here and there.
I joined Seth’s Patreon page a bout a month ago (only three dollars per month, and all of it goes towards his bike park project. (Cool, right?) A few weeks ago, I got a notice on my phone that there was a new Patreon post. I clicked on it and, as luck would have it, I was one of the first to see that Seth was hosting a bike tour weekend in his local Pisgah National Forest through Red Wolf Mountain Bike Tours.
Since I’m a horrible impulse shopper, and since it looks like so much fun, I jumped on board. After all – I’m not going on any road trips this year (of substantial size, anyway), and this is a real opportunity!
I leave on October 31. Stay tuned, this oughta be fun!
