What a treat it was riding with my cousin Kyle! We had a blast at Lebanon Hills in Minneapolis. I miss him already.
The day was still young and I had ample time to travel north to my next official stop in Duluth. A lot of people have talked up the Cayuna trails, so I thought I’d take a few hours and stop to do a QUICK ride on a few of the trails there.
The drive up was beautiful. I passed downtown Minneapolis and headed into the countryside. Mil-Lock Lake was a nice stop and it was WAY bigger than I was prepared for. Ironton was a quaint Minnesotan town that embraced the bike culture and guided me straight to the Cayuna trail system which is located just a mile or so north of town on county road 30. I paid a few bucks and parked the 4Runner.
